Cierra Cole - Railroad Days Princess 2009

Cierra is the eight year old daughter of Cecil Cole and Cher Meadows of Durand. Cierra is a third grader at Robert Kerr School in Durand. She has one sister, Brandee Meadows, who is a freshman at Durand High School.

Cierra loves fishing and hunting with her dad, sports, especially baseball and basketball, and reading. She is a member of the competitive dance team at Kathy's School of Dance in Durand and has won numerous awards. Cierra wants to be a professional basketball player when she grows up.

Cierra was one of three contestants vying for the crown, including Cora Lynn and Shelby Yelinek, both of Durand. Cierra was sponsored by Itchi-Bon in downtown Durand. The three contestants collected $700 to be used for projects and charities of the Durand Lioness Club. This is the second year for the princess contest, sponsored by the Durand Lioness Club. A & R Portraits helped to sponsor the contest by providing the contestants' photos.
