This years entertainment
This year's entertainment will be provided by two great local area bands.
On Friday- The Dirt Surfers: Are one of the most unique classic-rock bands currently performing in the mid-Michigan area. Based in Owosso, this four-piece band twists familiar songs inside-out! Lead Guitarist Doug Cornell is known for his super-fast tremolo picking on instrumental surf tunes like "Miserlou," "Pipeline," and their original songs. The band (Cornell, Jeff Deason, Tim Alderman, and Mike Walz) brings intense energy to vocal tunes too. Their renditions of "All Along the Watchtower," "Paint it Black," and the classic Bob Seeger track "2+2=?" are not to be missed!
On Saturday- Johnny Z & the Spotlights: Their seamless 3-part harmonies are accompanied by bass, harmonica, dumbek and acoustic guitar (naturally). The term ""skiffle"" refers to folk or country music played by performers who use unconventional instruments or percussion, such as kazoos, washboards or jugs. He has taken his ""neo-siffle"" sound a step further by flavoring the traditional folk/country base with r&b, blues and jazz, though maintaining the acoustic ""skiffle"" sound.
This year we will be featuring beer from the Mt. Pleasant Brewing Company of Mt. Pleasant, MI brought to you by Main Beverage Company of Owosso, MI.
