3:00 PM TO 5:00 PM The ArtWalk is a self-guided tour through downtown Durand where local business will display artwork in a variety of mediums by Durand Area High School Students. The ArtWalk also highlights local art and architecture making Durand a distinctly railroad town. The Art will be exhibited all weekend. Pick your information packet from a NRMI representative in the alley next to the Chamber of Commerce office on Saginaw Street on Friday. The rest of the week the material is available in the Baggage Car in Iron Horse Park. Vote for your favor pieces of art all weekend until Sunday at 5:00 pm as the ballot box will be located inside the door at Nick's Hometown Grill. FREE!

11:00 AM TO 5:00 PM In the 1919 Pullman Baggage Car there will be:
• Railroad related exhibits with the main exhibit being “Signal This!” This will be a fun glimpse at the importance of signals in railroad with a focus on signals in the era of steam.
• Information about “Treasures Along the Rails,” which is a self-guided walking tour featuring Durand’s rail treasures, will be available.
• Durand’s Grand Trunk Western Steam Locomotive 5632 will be on static display. It is one of only seven such steam locomotives in the United States so please check it out.
• Gate Tower No. 25, Thanks to the donations of rail fans who have visited NRMI through the nine previous years, NRMI will be highlighting the restored, beloved Gate Tower No. 25 which is located in Iron Horse Park. It has a unique place in Durand history. You won’t want to miss this structure with a newly restored look to show off and a story to tell.
• There will be many other surprises to entertain you.
• Refreshments will be available

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL EVENTS IN IRON HORSE PARK ARE FREE. IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A DONATION, THE MONEY WILL BE USED TO HELP RESTORE THE RAIL TREASURES IN IRON HORSE PARK.
